Argentina’s logistics sector is advancing toward efficiency and sustainability with the introduction of the first 30.25-meter, 75-ton bitren, which operates from the Port of Buenos Aires to the Zárate-Campana corridor. This initiative, led by Toyota Argentina in partnership with Yusen Logistics, aims to reduce carbon footprints and enhance product competitiveness. Bitren trucks, offering 40% more cargo capacity and up to 30% lower greenhouse gas emissions, also feature advanced safety technologies. This development signifies a modernization in freight transport, improving both environmental impact and road safety.
