Qatar Airways Cargo is enhancing trade connections with Australia by partnering with Virgin Australia to boost cargo capacity. Currently, it offers over 240 tonnes of weekly belly cargo capacity to major cities, which will increase to over 400 tonnes with the new flights. Starting in June 2025, Virgin Australia will operate daily Boeing 777 flights from Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth to Doha, significantly enhancing cargo capacity. This partnership aims to empower Australian exporters, addressing market demands and reinforcing Qatar Airways’ leadership in global trade, especially for perishables and pharmaceuticals.
