Atlas Air, a U.S.-based cargo airline, has entered a long-term ACMI agreement with Turkish Cargo to operate a Boeing 747-400F from May 2025. This partnership aims to boost Turkish Cargo’s logistics capabilities across major regions, enhancing operational efficiency. Michael Steen, CEO of Atlas Air, expressed confidence in the collaboration, highlighting the demand for reliable widebody freighters. Turkish Airlines’ Chairman Ahmet Bolat emphasized the mutual trust and value this partnership brings to the global logistics sector. The ACMI service will last from May 7, 2025, to May 7, 2026.
