Airbus is preparing for the final assembly of its first A350 freighter (A350F), with significant production progress underway at its facilities in France and Germany. The A350F, which is the third variant in the A350 family, features a fuselage length between the A350-900 and A350-1000 and includes the largest main-deck cargo door on a commercial aircraft. Airbus is retrofitting assembly stations and using digital tools to optimize workflows for the new cargo loading system. Training and preparation for assembly teams are also ongoing, with readiness expected in the coming months.
