WestJet Cargo is expanding its network following the integration of Sunwing Airlines, which has enhanced cargo capacity with 18 Boeing 737 aircraft. This expansion increases freight service options to key Caribbean destinations, notably Cuba, with added capacity of up to 2.5 tonnes per flight to Holguin, Santa Clara, and Varadero. New daily and weekly services have been introduced between Toronto and various locations, including Havana and Varadero, while also boosting services to Cancun, Montego Bay, and other destinations. WestJet aims to further expand its cargo offerings in the future.
