Turkish Airlines has expanded its African network by launching flights to Port Sudan, bringing its total destinations on the continent to 63. Initially, the service will operate twice weekly until September 29, increasing to three times weekly thereafter. Chairman Prof. Ahmet Bolat expressed excitement about connecting Port Sudan’s commercial and cultural significance to global markets, fostering trade, tourism, education, and cultural exchange. Promotional fares from Istanbul to Port Sudan start at £428, valid until March 31, 2026, with tickets available until December 15, 2025.
