Swiss WorldCargo has successfully transitioned to new, lighter, and more sustainable containers, aligning with its Summer 2025 timetable. This upgrade modernizes operations and enhances fuel efficiency, resulting in yearly savings of nearly 900 tonnes and a reduction of approximately 2,770 tonnes in CO2 emissions. Over nine months, the company replaced over 3,300 old containers with new ones, supported by partner Jettainer. Swiss WorldCargo aims to halve its 2019 carbon emissions by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, emphasizing the use of sustainable aviation fuels.
