Neste and DHL Express have agreed to supply 7,400 tonnes of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to DHL at Singapore Changi Airport from July 2025 to June 2026, marking a significant step in the air cargo sector’s sustainability efforts. Neste will produce the SAF at its Singapore refinery, blending it with conventional jet fuel for DHL’s Boeing 777 freighters. This partnership aims to reduce emissions and meet Singapore’s goal of 1% SAF use in aviation from 2026. Neste’s SAF is derived from renewable materials like used cooking oil and animal fat.
