Lufthansa Cargo is set to launch a virtual reality (VR) training program for aircraft loading supervisors, with the first module scheduled for October 2025. This initiative aims to enhance ground staff training in aircraft handling using VR technology, enabling employees to practice processes and safety protocols in a simulated environment. Momo Ruzic, Station Manager at Lufthansa Cargo, stated that this approach not only improves training effectiveness but also positions the company as an industry innovator. The use of VR is expected to lower training costs and reduce reliance on physical resources.
