Kraft Heinz launched the Rise Together Procurement Program to tackle food delivery challenges for the nonprofit Rise Against Hunger. This initiative, piloted in 2022, formed a cross-functional team to enhance logistics and create a framework for future challenges. In 2023, Kraft Heinz committed $15 million to the nonprofit and aims to double its global meal donation impact by 2027. Collaborating with logistics partners like Maersk, the program successfully delivered over 20 truckloads of food, valued at around $500,000, to support food-insecure communities in Ukraine, Turkiye, and Syria.
