Ethiopian Airlines Group has launched a modern airport in Wollo Kombolcha, Ethiopia, featuring a passenger terminal, VIP terminal, and support facilities, inaugurated by prominent officials including the Amhara Regional State President and the airline’s CEO. The project, costing over 12 million Euros, includes a 3,500 sq meter terminal and essential infrastructure like a firefighting station and parking areas. CEO Mesfin Tasew emphasized the airport’s role in improving passenger experience and boosting local economies. Ethiopian Airlines operates daily flights from Kombolcha, enhancing domestic travel options.
