ASL Airlines Australia has expanded its fleet with the lease of a second Boeing 737-800 Converted Freighter, enhancing its cargo capabilities in the Australasian region. This aircraft, originally delivered in 1999 and converted in 2022, will be deployed in late July to meet the rising demand for air freight amidst growing e-commerce. The B737-800BCF is more efficient, carrying up to 23 tonnes and emitting 15% less carbon, aligning with ASL’s sustainability goals. ASL Aviation Holdings, which rebranded Pionair Australia, operates a diverse fleet across multiple regions, supporting logistics needs effectively.
