Embraer has released its Market Outlook 2025, a 20-year forecast for commercial aircraft deliveries under 150 seats, predicting 10,500 new jet and turboprop orders through 2044. The report, issued before the Paris Air Show, examines global trends affecting demand, with a separate focus on China for the first time. It also forecasts cargo aircraft demand and passenger-to-freighter conversions. Embraer’s CEO, Arjan Meijer, noted that persistent social and geopolitical changes since the pandemic have influenced demand, emphasizing the need for diverse fleets to adapt to evolving market conditions. Passenger traffic is expected to grow at 3.9% annually, with China leading.
