Electrolux Group has appointed Michelle Shi-Verdaasdonk as its new chief procurement officer, effective December 9. In this role, she will manage the procurement strategy for materials, logistics, and product sourcing. Shi-Verdaasdonk previously held various global director positions at Electrolux from 2010 to 2015 and most recently served as chief supply chain officer at Dyson. Electrolux CEO Jonas Samuelson expressed confidence in her abilities to enhance cost, quality, and efficiency, noting her successful experience in complex supply chains and partnership building.
