Egis, a French airport management company, has partnered with Cargo Strat, led by consultant Steven Verhasselt, to enhance its air freight operations starting August 1, 2025. This collaboration aims to develop a commercial air freight strategy primarily for Ostend-Bruges Airport, with plans to expand to other locations after October 1. Verhasselt, with extensive experience in cargo management, previously served at Liège Airport and Brussels Airport Company. Additionally, Egis appointed Nathan De Valck as CEO of Antwerp and Ostend airports, leveraging his two decades of cargo expertise.
