DHL Supply Chain is investing £550 million (€637 million) to enhance its infrastructure and automate operations in the UK and Ireland, driven by demand in e-commerce and healthcare. This follows a €1 billion investment in automation over the last three years, with over 3,200 digital projects completed. CEO Saul Resnick highlighted the growing recognition of digital benefits among customers, leading to increased deployments. The company aims to co-develop robotics solutions, having already integrated over 2,000 robots in operations, including the new Boston Dynamics Stretch Robot for efficient unloading.
