DHL Group has established a memorandum of understanding with Boston Dynamics to enhance their collaboration in robotics. Building on the successful deployment of the Stretch robot for container unloading, DHL plans to introduce over 1,000 additional units and expand their applications, including case picking. This partnership, which began in 2018, aims to improve logistics automation and employee satisfaction while streamlining operations. With over €1 billion invested in automation, DHL currently employs over 7,500 robots and various technologies to optimize its supply chain and enhance service delivery.
