Crowley’s new LNG-powered containership, Tiscapa, has launched its inaugural service, enhancing cargo transport options in the U.S., Caribbean, and Central America. With a capacity of 1,400 TEUs, including 300 refrigerated units, Tiscapa is designed for efficient deliveries using lower-emission liquefied natural gas. Andrew Davis, Crowley Logistics’ VP of operations, highlighted Tiscapa’s role in providing reliable logistics solutions. The ship will facilitate trade between the U.S., Dominican Republic, and Central America, following its sister ships, Quetzal and Copán, in serving regional markets.
