CEVA Logistics, a leader in third-party logistics, coordinated the transport of 14 engines and alternators for Wärtsilä from Finnish ports to the Larivot bioenergy plant in French Guiana. In April, the initial shipment included seven engines, followed by additional alternators. CEVA utilized specialized roll-on/roll-off ships for equipment transfer and organized overland transport using heavy-duty trailers. The first oversized convoy departed on May 4, ensuring safe delivery to the site. CEVA’s meticulous planning and collaboration ensured successful logistics and installation, highlighting their expertise in complex projects for renewable energy.
