The Cathay Group has achieved a notable milestone by surpassing 100,000 passengers on December 15, 2024, with a total of 100,856 passengers across its airlines, Cathay Pacific and HK Express. This accomplishment was repeated on eight occasions during the year-end travel peak. CEO Ronald Lam praised the team’s dedication in ensuring smooth travel for customers. Following a successful two-year rebuilding phase, Cathay plans to expand its routes, including new destinations in 2025, aiming to operate 100 global destinations. The completion of the Three-Runway System marks a new era for Hong Kong’s aviation.
