This merger positions ANA as Japan’s largest combination carrier and the 14th largest globally in cargo transport. NCA, previously owned by Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha, was acquired to strengthen ANA’s cargo business amidst market fluctuations. The integration is expected to improve profitability and support sustainable growth, with plans for consolidated financial reporting beginning in fiscal year 2025.
