Amazon has acquired a 12.7-year-old Airbus A330-300 from Stratos, an aircraft investment specialist, for conversion from passenger to freighter to enhance its air cargo operations. Previously operated by Corsair International, the aircraft is now registered as N7019K and stored at Pinal Airpark in the U.S. This acquisition underscores Stratos’ expertise in managing mid-life widebody aircraft, meeting the growing demand for fleet adjustments in a constrained market. Amazon Air’s fleet now includes 96 aircraft, featuring 10 A330-300 converted freighters.
