Air Hong Kong, an all-cargo airline, plans to retire its last operational Airbus A300F4-600 freighter, registered as B-LDB, on June 20, 2025. This 21-year-old aircraft, currently operated for DHL, will be transferred to ASL Airlines Ireland and re-registered as EI-LDB. The airline, a subsidiary of the Cathay Group, is transitioning to a single-type fleet, replacing its A300s with Airbus A330-300P2F models. The retirement was postponed from 2024 to 2025, and the airline reported a profit of HK$807 million in 2024, with a slight increase in flight capacity.
