The move aligns Adidas with other athletic brands like Puma and Nike in rejecting kangaroo leather, which has historically been used in high-end soccer cleats. Advocates view this as a significant step towards animal protection, while a new bill in the U.S. Congress aims to ban the import and sale of kangaroo products.
