Emirates SkyCargo is experiencing increased demand for New Zealand exports following the implementation of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the UAE and New Zealand. This agreement enhances access for Kiwi producers to Middle Eastern markets, benefiting high-quality products like crayfish, lamb, cherries, and orchids. With Emirates’ robust air services and efficient logistics, demand for New Zealand orchids in Dubai has surged by 50% annually. The CEPA is expected to further boost trade, as Emirates continues to facilitate the export of nearly 10,000 tonnes of perishable goods from New Zealand each year.
