Astral Aviation has initiated its first freighter service connecting Haikou, China, and Johannesburg, South Africa, enhancing trade between the two regions. Utilizing a Boeing 767-300 Freighter, this route is expected to boost the transport of goods such as e-commerce products, electronics, textiles, perishables, and raw materials. As China becomes Africa’s largest trading partner, this new air link aims to meet increasing demand for efficient cargo transport, creating opportunities for manufacturers and logistics providers. CEO Sanjeev Gadhia emphasized that this service will foster trade and economic growth, supporting their strategy to expand key trade corridors.
