Maastricht Aachen Airport (MST) in the Netherlands has expanded its cargo operations by partnering with Avianca Cargo, which will commence two weekly freighter flights between Europe and Latin America starting October 2025. Utilizing an Airbus A330, Avianca Cargo will facilitate the transport of fresh flowers from South America to Europe and export fashion apparel. This development follows a 25% increase in cargo volumes at MST in the first eight months of 2025, bolstered by expansions from other carriers. The airport is enhancing its role as a vital logistics hub connecting Latin America and Europe.
