Hong Kong International Airport resumed flights on September 25 after a 36-hour suspension due to Super Typhoon Ragasa, which had partially restarted operations on the evening of September 24. While the airport remains operational, strong winds initially delayed passenger flights until midnight. Cargo operations were severely disrupted, affecting an estimated 26,000 tonnes of air cargo, with significant flight cancellations. Recovery efforts are underway, but full operations will take time as airlines adapt to new scheduling systems. Outbound cargo capacity experienced a sharp decline and a swift recovery following the storm.
