The first Airbus A350 freighter aircraft’s fuselage has arrived in Toulouse for assembly, following production across various Airbus locations in France and Germany. Joost van der Heijden, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Airbus, confirmed that the front, center, and rear fuselage sections, along with the wings, are being prepared for assembly. Airbus is building two A350 freighters for flight testing, scheduled for 2026 and 2027, with 65 orders secured globally. The aircraft, featuring a range of 4,700 nautical miles and a payload capacity of around 111 tonnes, is expected to enter service in late 2027.
