Reliable Robotics and NASA have partnered under a Space Act Agreement to integrate large uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) into the US National Airspace System. This collaboration involves joint testing and research focused on safely scaling autonomous aircraft for cargo and air transport. They will conduct simulations addressing collision avoidance, communication loss, and airport interactions, aiming to determine the necessary automation for UAS integration. This partnership builds on prior flight tests and supports NASA’s Advanced Air Mobility initiatives, enhancing safety and efficiency in aviation.
