Ryder System’s CEO, Robert Sanchez, noted an increase in decision-making among supply chain customers amid market uncertainties linked to the freight recession and U.S. tariff policies. While sales in the Supply Chain segment have improved, the Dedicated and Leasing divisions have not seen similar progress. Customers are cautious, influenced by ongoing tariff evaluations, despite some clarification from recent tax legislation. Ryder’s Q2 operating revenue rose 2% to $2.6 billion, driven by growth in its Supply Chain and Fleet Management Solutions, which offer logistics and fleet services.
