Lufthansa Cargo reported a robust second quarter in 2025, achieving an adjusted EBIT of €73 million, a 103% increase from Q2 2024, with revenues rising 3% to €820 million due to strong Asian e-commerce demand and a shift from sea to air freight. In the first half of 2025, adjusted EBIT reached €135 million, largely due to a 6% boost in cargo capacity and an 8% rise in revenue cargo tonne-kilometres. Investments of €53 million focused on modernizing the Frankfurt freight terminal to enhance efficiency and service quality, reflecting the company’s commitment to adapting to market dynamics.
