The Cathay Group reported a significant increase in passenger and cargo volumes for June 2025 compared to the previous year, with a total of approximately 2.9 million passengers, a 23.3% rise. Cathay Cargo transported over 130,000 tonnes, marking a 6.3% increase. The group expanded its global network by adding five new destinations, bringing the total to over 100. Cathay Pacific set a post-pandemic record of over 90,000 passengers on June 28, while HK Express also saw a rise in passenger numbers. Despite some challenges, the outlook remains positive for long-haul routes.
