Hamburg Airport will mandate the use of the FAIR@Link Cargo Community System at its cargo center from August 4, 2025, to enhance digital handling and customs processes. Developed by allivate, the system aims to improve efficiency amid rising cargo volumes and a shortage of skilled workers. All handling agents, including Wisag Cargo, have adopted the system, which allows freight forwarders to pre-declare shipments and plan capacity in advance. This initiative is expected to streamline air freight processing and position Hamburg Airport as a leading logistics hub.
