Yusen Logistics Global Management, a subsidiary of the NYK Group, is set to acquire the healthcare logistics business of the Walden Group by purchasing Movianto International B.V. This acquisition, initiated through a Put Option Agreement, will proceed after necessary consultations and regulatory approvals. The Walden Group’s healthcare logistics, which includes several companies and operates across 12 European countries, focuses on contract logistics and supply chain services. The transaction, valued at approximately EUR 1.25 billion, aims to enhance Yusen’s capabilities in the healthcare sector, expanding its market presence and service offerings.
