Chapman Freeborn, part of Avia Solutions Group, has achieved a significant milestone by completing a record cargo operation at Glasgow Prestwick Airport. The operation involved transporting the longest piece of cargo ever processed at the airport, a 67-foot, 24-tonne component for the oil and gas industry, along with two additional components, using a B747F nose loader. The shipment, which originated in Kuala Lumpur and stopped at Liège for security, was unloaded in just 30 minutes, showcasing effective coordination among the teams involved. Adam Duckworth emphasized their commitment to handling complex shipments efficiently.
