The report indicates that both engines were shut down shortly after takeoff, with fuel cutoff switches transitioning to CUTOFF within one second. Cockpit recordings reveal a pilot questioning the shutdown, while CCTV showed the Ram Air Turbine deploying. The investigation is ongoing, and Boeing expressed condolences and support for the inquiry, emphasizing compliance with aviation protocols.
