The Port of Los Angeles will host Olympic sailing events for the LA28 Games, alongside Belmont Shore in Long Beach. The Port will feature six boat events, including Men’s and Women’s Dinghy and Skiff, while Belmont Shore will have four board events like Windsurfing. This marks a historic continuation of sailing at these venues, which previously hosted Olympic events in 1932 and 1984. LA28 CEO Reynold Hoover and other officials expressed excitement about showcasing the best sailors and the cities’ rich sailing history. Additional competition details will be announced this summer.
