Avianca Cargo and Amazon Air have enhanced their Bogotá-Miami freighter service to twice-daily flights, as announced by Avianca Cargo CEO Diogo Elias at the 2025 TIACA Executive Summit. This partnership involves Avianca operating a daily Boeing 767-300 freighter charter to improve airfreight capacity between the U.S. and Latin America. Avianca Cargo, with a fleet of eight aircraft, is focused on maximizing capacity and expanding its network through over 70 interline agreements. Amazon Air, operating a fleet of 96 aircraft, aims to enhance efficiency in cross-border commerce between Colombia and the U.S.
