Wingcopter, a European drone technology firm, has secured additional funding from the Nordic Secondary Fund and existing investors, including the European Investment Bank. The funding is driven by the company’s progress in obtaining type certification for its delivery drones and expanding into drone-based infrastructure surveying using LiDAR technology. Founded in 2017, Wingcopter is enhancing its leadership team with experienced executives to support mass production of its Wingcopter 198 model and to capitalize on logistics and aerial data collection opportunities.
