DHL Group, Daimler Truck, and hylane have formed a partnership to introduce 30 fully electric Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 trucks, which will be used by DHL’s Post & Parcel Germany division. Instead of purchasing the trucks, DHL will pay hylane based on the kilometers driven. This initiative is part of DHL’s commitment to zero-emission logistics and aims to enhance their transport fleet without long lead times. The trucks are set for delivery by mid-2026, contributing to the electrification of long-distance transport, which accounts for a significant portion of CO2 emissions in Europe.
