LGG has launched CargoLand, a €500 million cargo infrastructure project at its Belgian airport, set to be fully completed by 2040. This initiative aims to enhance air cargo handling through digital solutions, advanced equipment, and multimodal transport links, positioning LGG as one of Europe’s top three cargo airports. Covering 90 hectares, CargoLand will feature various facilities, including warehouses for e-commerce and last-mile deliveries, and aims to foster collaboration among air cargo stakeholders. The initiative also includes the LGG Connect program to strengthen LGG’s role in Europe’s cargo ecosystem.
