Airbus has marked a key achievement in its A350 freighter program by completing the first set of wings for the A350F at its Broughton facility. These wings mirror the A350 design, enabling efficient production on the same assembly line and utilizing advanced composite materials to enhance aerodynamics and reduce weight. Airbus is preparing two A350F test aircraft for flight testing in 2026 and 2027. The A350F aims to revolutionize air freight with at least 20% lower fuel consumption and emissions, featuring the largest cargo door in the industry. However, its service debut is postponed to late 2027 due to supply chain issues.
