Nairobi-based cargo airline Astral Aviation has launched a Boeing 767-300 freighter service from Hong Kong to Brisbane for Aus Air Cargo, an Australian company aiming to be a top air freight carrier. The aircraft, previously operated by Qantas, completed its inaugural flight on May 27. CEO Satvir Kalsi plans to expand operations to Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth. This service will enhance trade connectivity between Australia and Asia, facilitating the export of perishable goods. Astral Aviation’s partnership with Aus Air aims to meet the growing demand for airfreight capacity in the region.
