Descartes Systems Group has announced that its Air Messaging solution now aligns with the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) ONE Record messaging standard, which aims to digitize air cargo communications by January 1, 2026. This initiative will replace older document exchange methods. Christian Lehr from Lufthansa Cargo highlighted that using ONE Record will enhance real-time data sharing for shipments. Descartes’ solution supports various data standards and aims to improve transparency and efficiency in the air cargo industry, ultimately benefiting customer experiences and reducing costs.
