Kuehne+Nagel has opened a new 432,000 sq. ft. road logistics facility in Laredo, Texas, consolidating three cross-docks to double capacity at the U.S.-Mexico border. This strategically located site features 200 trailer parking stalls and 115 dock doors, enhancing cross-docking, warehousing, and transloading capabilities. It also includes a 17,500 sq. ft. foreign trade zone to assist with customs duties. Regional VP Nathan Thomas emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting the nearshoring trend, which boosts supply chain resilience and efficiency amid global trade challenges.
