Cadets Anna LaDue and Odegaard Fields from Maine Maritime Academy have received the Thomas B. Crowley Sr. Memorial Scholarship for their outstanding performance during cadet training on Crowley-operated vessels and their commitment to maritime careers. LaDue, studying marine transportation operations, is actively involved in various campus organizations and plans to sail on tankers after training on the American Pride. Fields, also in marine transportation, serves as a small vessel handling instructor and aspires to work as a deck officer on tankers or offshore wind supply vessels. Crowley has awarded over $3 million in scholarships since 1984.
