However, declines were observed from Central & South America (down 9%) and Europe (down 3%). Average spot rates held steady at $2.55 per kilo, reflecting an 8% yearly increase, while rates from Asia Pacific to Europe saw a 3% drop week-on-week but remained 20% higher than last year.
