Windracers, a UK drone manufacturer, inaugurated its expanded 22,000 sq m factory in Fareham, Hampshire, on September 1, 2025, following refurbishments to boost heavy-lift drone production. The expansion has created over 50 jobs, with more expected soon. The company, known for its Windracers ULTRA drone, aims to more than double deliveries by year-end and supply hundreds more in the next two years. CEO Simon Muderack emphasized the importance of this expansion for scaling production and meeting customer demand. Local leaders praised the investment for bringing quality jobs to the region.
