Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), part of the SATS Group, has secured a long-term contract with SAS Cargo to handle operations at Stockholm Arlanda Airport starting February 24, 2025. This marks SAS Cargo’s first partnership with an external handler at a Scandinavian hub, expanding their existing collaboration with WFS in several European countries. SAS Cargo’s CEO highlighted the importance of Arlanda and expressed confidence in WFS’s experience and operational standards. This contract solidifies WFS’s status as the largest independent cargo handler at Arlanda, enhancing their infrastructure and capabilities in Sweden.
